A great app to convert IEEE 754 double precision (64Bit) floating-point numbers from decimal system to their binary representation and back. The app has a straight forward, easy to use user interface.
For each conversion additional information is provided, like If the result is exact or just an approximation.
The binary representation is broken down to 2x 32Bit, 4x 16Bit and also to 8x 8Bit wide sub fields - all editable.
The display can be switched between "little endian" and "big endian" as well as "unsigned integer", "signed integer" and "hexadecimal" view.

Features:
• High calculation accuracy (internally 35 digits)
• All fields can be edited
• All inputs are either decimal numbers, scientific notation or hexadecimal
• Configurable byte-order (Endianness)
• “copy all” to copy calculation into clipboard
• Very simple interface
• Very small memory requirement
• No advertisements
• No internet connection required
• No registration
• No additional costs
